What is a climbing World Cup Championship?
Each year a series of international climbing competitions is organized in the framework of the World Cup Championship. For each climbing discipline (difficulty, speed, bouldering) a maximum of 10 competitions per year may be organized. Each competition includes categories for men and women. The minimum age for participation is 16 years. At the final competition of the annual series, the World Cup shall be awarded to the competitor(s) achieving the highest number of points. The Flanders World Cup Puurs is the fourth manche of the World Cup Championship 2010.
